I am

an International Creative Director with more than 15 years of experience at creative agencies in Amsterdam, Shanghai, Tokyo and Los Angeles.

From 2005 till 2008 I was ECD in China, where I successfully grew a new Wieden+Kennedy office towards the Beijing '08 Olympic Games. Besides establishing agency and culture in this new market, my aim was finding and growing outstanding Chinese talents and creating branded entertainment and communication beyond classic advertising.

I left Shanghai in 2008 to lead the W+K office in Tokyo for nearly two years. I continued trying to build unique cultures and outstanding creative with focus on non-traditional and new media campaigns. The devastating earthquake 2011 urged me and my family to move out of Japan.

In 2012 I joined 72andsunny in Los Angeles and couldn't resist the sun and the creative opportunities for 5 years. I was running Sonos, Samsung, adidas and Activision - all globally - and was able to end on a personal project that manifests diversity and a world without borders.

In summer 2017 my family and me moved to Germany to take on two challenges: to open a new Anomaly office in Berlin and to learn - again - German language and culture. With Anomaly I was able to launch the first ever global campaign for RIMOWA and to win the digital business for the prestigious car brand Porsche.
