CREATIVE DIRECTOR, W+K AMSTERDAM

1998 - 2005

In 1998 I moved from Germany to The Netherlands and joined Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam to work on their growing Nike business. Among several International and European campaigns I was responsible for the first fully integrated global football campaign for the World Cup 2002 in Japan/Korea. It included an anthemic 3 min TV film directed by Terry Gilliam with a (first time ever) remixed Elvis track that became a global Nr 1 hit, an expansive outdoor campaign, a retail and event integration platform and a digital expansion.

Besides Nike I was also working on Vodafone, Coca Cola, HypoVereinsbank and Montblanc.
