EXECUTIVE CREATIVE DIRECTOR, W+K SHANGHAI

2005 - 2008

In 2005 I was assigned as the Executive Creative Director of Wieden+Kennedy in Shanghai to grow agency and Nike business towards the Olympics 2008 in Beijing. Within 2 years we were able to build the agency into a creative powerhouse and establish a culture that was unique for China at that time. We created work beyond advertising - branded entertainment in form of a basketball TV series that ran on National TV, a short film about the power of failing, several web experiences and endless art collaborations. And most important: we grew a new generation of young, self confident Chinese creative minded people that were ready to hit the world.
